This is the closest solution I could find. So my question, how onearth do I activate my very legit installation of FSX and Acceleration? When I go to HELP>ABOUT in the menu it clearly illustrates "Microsoft Flight Simulator X Demo" Needless to say, that my installation is in demo note. According to MS, FSX without the pack is not compatible with Windows 7 64-bit. Then you're likely using the Acceleration expansion pack or you're on 32-bit (on which it will run).
